ePeople Healthcare and eKidzCare’s CEO Selected as a 2014 Diamond Award Winner by the Pittsburgh Business Times.
Dwayne Spurlock, CEO and Owner of ePeople Healthcare and eKidzCare, was named a 2014 Diamond Award winner by the Pittsburgh Business Times. Dwayne’s story is part of the larger story of Pittsburgh’s revival as an “Eds and Meds” economy. Dwayne was able to build two successful businesses from the ground up, employing over 1,000 people in the healthcare industry in 2013.
The annual Diamond Award honors Pittsburgh’s top CEOs, company presidents or individuals who hold equivalent positions. Selections were made after submitting nomination forms that included company background information and supporting reference letters that discussed what marked the nominee as one of the region’s outstanding business leaders. Included was a description of the nominee’s customer service philosophy, relationship with employees, leadership style and the affect they have on staff and company performance.
On April 24, 2014, the twenty winners will be honored at a Pittsburgh Business Times event held at the Duquesne Club. Dwayne is among good company. Other executives to be honored include: Craig Clark (Rivers Casino), Rob Daley(4moms), Sister Candace Introcaso, CDP, Ph.D.(La Roche College), Dr. Paul D. Nielsen (Carnegie Mellon University, Software Engineering Institute), and Vince Sands, BNY Mellon, to name a few.
